I got it from my exchange place (we're going to Mexico) & the others are all very circulated including an ED prefix (so not sure how "scarce" the commemorative will be  ). Now, I have to try to find the 20 Pesos & 100 Pesos in UNC! |

Nice, I'm glad you found one for face value!  I recently ordered the 100 Pesos with the centennial overprint. Hopefully it'll arrive before Christmas. |

Although from circulation, my daughter just returned from Mexico and brought me this note. Its a nice little add to my circulated note collection.  Edited by scopru

I picked up the 100 Pesos note with the same Bank of Mexico 100th Anniversary overprint. Given the prices on the higher denominations, this is as far as I'll go with the BOM commemoratives. It's a beautiful note, especially with the monarch butterflies on the reverse.   |

The polymer 100 Peso note has indeed a very nice design.
By the way, are the Mexicans still using / alternating printing this denomimation on Safeguard (DeLaRue) and Guardian (CCL Secure)?
It's rather easy to see which one was used. Put the banknote on a black sheet of paper. If you can see the black lines on the arc on the top of the note (here they are white because the background is white) it's Guardian, if you can't (or hardly can) it's Safeguard.
