Quote: That's an impressive makeover, Marc, congrats!
I was digging through a box of miscellaneous coin stuff today and ran across my Verdi-Care. Woooohoooo! Use it sparingly. It works like gold for me!

@Marc Ingram: that is amazing! I recently bought a 2 oz bottle my self and ordered another 2oz bottle after I was 1/2 way through :D I'm thinking about order more already just in case!
If your process was at all different than the instructions would you be able to do a quick walk through?

If your process was at all different than the instructions would you be able to do a quick walk through? Thank you! Sure. The 2 oz bottle I have has got to be over 10 years old. I can't remember when I bought it. It's so old, the label has worn off! I will take pictures of it tomorrow. I don't have a clue what the label even said. I use the VERDI-CARE very sparingly. I only use it on my special copper coins. The process for this coin was very simple. I first gave it a good acetone bath. I submerged the coin in a small glass bowl of 100% acetone. I used saturated Q-tips to "gently" VERY GENTLY rub the coin for several few minutes. I took the coin out of the acetone and dried it with a micro fiber cloth. I then put 2 drops of verdi-care on one side of the coins first. I slowly worked the verdi-care into the surface of the coin with another Q-tip for several minutes. Then I let it sit for 30 minutes and repeated the verdi-care process again with the same Q-tip. The residue or whatever it was on the coin, actually came off onto the Q-tip. As the Q-tip got dirty the coin slowly restored I repeated the process on the other side of the coin. I was surprised be the results as anyone! I then submitted it for grading. Easy Peasy!

Thanks for that! I've been afraid of using q tips as I read others say they can scratch the surface but perhaps being gentle is the key. I'll have to give it a shot :D

How much is this clipped 46 cent worth?..... 10 or 15 bucks?!?!

Thanks for the on-going feedback @BadThad! Here the bottle I was talking about, I've had for many years. Not much left. I'm trying to make it last. The wording on the label is completely gone. Not a clue what it actually said.
