1. I collect things other than gold and silver, so that won't end. 2. As was mentioned, I have enough surplus silver that I can trade for numismatically interesting pieces that I am really keen on. with more numismatic pieces being threatened with the melting pot, it may be easier to snag some of these pieces for the silver value.

What an odd question.
I will collect less, and some items previously affordable are no longer so - I am reluctant to spend over AU$1000 (about US$700) on a single coin, so at current PM prices gold coins are effectively no longer an option for me - but I will still aim to collect as much as I can, on my budget.

I will still collect modern gold commemoratives as they are issued (going to be painful this year). I used to stack gold bullion coins (Eagles, Maple Leafs, Philharmonics, and 50 Pesos), but I began when gold was about $1,000 an ounce and ceased when it got up to around $1,800 because I astutely discerned that there was no way it could go much higher than that. Now they're all sitting in a safe deposit box that I visit maybe 3 or 4 times a year in a small room while I repeat to myself, "My precious...."

I am still buying morgans but getting better date coins that don't look like the price of silver has effected them much. I likely won't buy common dates again for a while unless its a conditional rarity.

Won't be long and the only affordable coins will be copper and nickel.

The price of copper is up 40% while the price of nickel is up 19% YoY.

I recently cut back, and about a month ago stopped buying and actually sold off 75 ounces. I'll wait till the market goes down before I get back in.

Good question, I was never a gold stacker. I could not afford it. I have slowed on stacking silver. I buy when I see a deal that fits my budget. Those deals have slowed in the last few months. But I will keep buying within my budget. I am more focused on completing my collections.
