If the planchet was damaged prestrike, the strike would have flattened it out, definitely avoid that person for any further questions!

Well he was partially right it is a damaged planchette but it happened after it left the mint making it ( PMD). You have to ask yourself is there a way to go to my garage or basement and make something like this, and the answer is yes.

Much post-strike damage, mostly of a blunt force nature. If coins could talk...

@ Rubduck Where do you find all the damaged coins you post? Far more than most people would come across in their change. Are you metal detecting in busy parking lots? I guess that dodging cars would add some excitement to an otherwise sedate pastime.

No I just get them from stores I drive about a 100000 miles a year, so I'm getting changed all over the place. Don't ask you word or coming from. They seem to find me.

So no reply for my ebay question then? Hmm.... What type of driver are you that you are traveling over 100 thousand miles each year? @ Chase, I just want to know why he (Rubduck) seems to think that all these obviously damaged coins are errors and are somewhat valuable. He tosses out challenges for us to prove him wrong, but when challenged himself - he goes silent.
