This is absolutely stunning. You are speaking my language here. The Shield nickel is one of the best designed and overlooked coins IMO.

That said, I could never even hope to afford a proof Shield nickel.
This must have cost a small fortune.

Wow! I got stuck on Shield nickels for just a couple of years, always liked the design but never had a single coin that looked like any of those. Fantastic group!
