Looks like there is significant wear on this coin, especially on the wreath. Fields look dulled from friction. Color is pretty but seems unnatural for a coin that has this much apparent wear. Maybe I'm way off but my first thought was XF-45.  |

Same coin. Different photos from 15+ years ago. I just bought this coin in an auction, but I thought the photos were not great. I did my research and found these photos from an old auction. Do the new photos change anyone guesses? I'll reveal the grade later today, but a hint..it is photosealed by Rick Snow   |

Lovely example, I think it's no wear and just a weaker strike, MS62/63 range.

Here is the reveal.... Many had grades significantly lower with the first round of pics. As many stated, there appears to be a weak strike, but no sight of wear (2nd set of pics show this better). I think the auction house photos cost them money on some coins recently auctioned. This coin last made an appearance in 2010 (before I was even collecting coins!) and was Photosealed then. Coin went for almost the same as it did then.  Edited by RedRaider

I thought about going that high on the grade, but didn't think it would make it in a PCGS holder, which I deduced from the out of focus scuffed area (it had a look of a PCGS slab to me). Congrats on the grade and the coin!
