Quote: Congrats...right place, right time... Did you kiss the teller.. I hit a bunch of completely random banks that day. 10 rolls here, 2 rolls there, 6 loose ones over there, etc... I just throw them in a box in the car. I don't know what I have, until I get home and start looking through them at night. I can't even tell you which bank I got them from.

Quote:As long as the "Teller" wasn't a "Feller".......... Nice premium for MS65 "Speared Eagles"........Sold listings. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nk...83&LH_Sold=1 I'll go out on a limb here and say they are 66's or 67's. They are on their way to CAC.

I have a roll of 2000-P Sacagaweas in original Mint Wrapper. In the year 2001, I sold another roll to a co-worker for FV. I guess the odds of finding this variety in my remaining roll are slim to none, but I might have to open it to find out. Alternatively, I could leave the roll intact and offer it on ebay with the suggestion that it may contain speared eagles. Congratulations!! Eight in a roll is amazing.

What can you get for that roll on ebay, 40/50 bucks?.. After fees and shipping, not worth it. Could we see a picture of that roll?

The mintmark on the P roll is hidden under the wrap, so I included an end shot, just to prove I'm not lying.

Nope. Only one end. Why? I wouldn't expect the one reverse visible to be the speared eagle goal. I'd be surprised if any of them are.

But here's a little test before you open it. Go get your glasses or a loupe. Look at that obverse ender. Do you see this little pimple? It's called a die marker. If you see it, it's a speared eagle variety.

I'm having a little problem with my scope this evening and have misplaced my trusty old loupe. It may be that I'll have to break the roll to have a look. I'll update whenever that's possible. Thanks!
