Ike dollars. But, without competition, other than
ebay and Craigslist, they aren't known for great prices. Although the word coin appears in their name, they are primarily a jewelry store that does coins on the side. To be honest, I hadn't even considered them. But you've forced me to.
An 11 mile drive with a high probability of returning empty handed isn't exactly enticing. But holy cow, $2 apiece? I'll have to stop in next time I'm in the neighborhood!
I suppose so! However, only one of them is really in my actual direct area. The others are a bit of a drive or rather "visit when in the area" kind of scenario.
Luckily, the one that is the closest to me is actually the best one and they have an assortment of things. Boxes of coins to go through and pick from, among other things. Most people go there are into bullion.
