Got a box of 1776-2026 P on Friday, put it on the auction site Sunday morning and had it sold Sunday evening. I have found a few individual coins hunting CWR over the last few weeks which I have kept, but I gotta feed the roll hunting beast!

How much did you get for the box?

Quote: I thought they were going to redesign the nickel like all of the other semiquincentenial coins. I guess the figured it was not large enough. Quote: It sounds like there will be NIFC 1776-2026 pennies. Yes, they will be in the proof and uncirculated Mint sets.

I've never sold an unopened bank roll before. Maybe this is a dumb question, but how do you really know that the roll contains all BU coins from a specific year, when all you can see are the ends? The odds seem high because all the heads up ends on the rolls are 2026, but that's no guarantee of what the distributor had in the machine.

Well, after the pep talk (and some research on ebay), I went back to the bank and got another 20 rolls of 2026-P nickels. =)

Quote: Brandmeister are you going to sell any rolls or singles here on CCF? I wasn't too inclined to wrangle with PayPal or cash, so I decided to just put them all on ebay. $17.76 for a single roll with free shipping, and a 35% discount for 2+ rolls.

@Brandmeister - been away for a few days but $315 for the box. I paid shipping. To be fair I had no way of knowing if all 2000 nickels were 1776-2026 P but every ender was new (obverse and reverse) and I have made the mistake of thinking I'd find something other than freshly minted coins in boxes like this before. In 2023 I had boxes just like it and re-rolled 2000 nickels TWICE. Not a great "n" but a cut above just assuming.

That is still an excellent slice of profit!
