one must consider strike with these bust halves. the biggest challenge is determining what effect it would have on the coin. I havent figured it out yet and based what I've seen neither do TPG's

wicked die crack, its no wonder the die didnt fall apart. I think there is corrosion along the bottom of the date in those dark areas. you can see the weakness in strike presenting itself on the left wing of the eagle as well as the area around the drape clasp. most likely had a cleaning at some point in its life. many did.

i think she is shy of VF30 so I'm at VF25 (details) corroded

This is an O-101a. I'd say VF details as well.

Very nice coin! I have her twin O-101a and the same die cracks and it's ANACS graded. However, I don't think it's appropriate to post it without the op's OK.
