I should have added that it has full mint luster, cartwheels all the way around. I'm just incapable of duplicating bright coins. I'll work on it. It's definitely is BU.

Dowhat. its impossible to determine if the original surfaces have been removed or not, just too much glare. what makes it even more challenging is that the 21(D)'s have below average strikes so determining if anything we see is from strike or maybe circulation cannot be made. there are quite a bit of marks and scratches especially on the obv.
repost photos and do not use ANY lighting at all and see what you get.

Thanks to you all for your responses. I'm submitting a couple more photos in hope that they may help. My photo skills are somewhat subpar and eliminating glare is a big problem for me. As I stated earlier, it does retain some luster that I just cannot capture. By no means blast white but none the less, it remains. Pacifica, might you elaborate a bit as to the environmental issues that are concerning. Again, thanks all.   |

I am still at lower MS because I do not see the rubs that would make it AU.  |

I see it as a MS63 maybe. Could be a 58 though

My final attempt at some clarity. I reduced the lighting and hopefully the surfaces have become more discernible. Upon reflection, they do appear altered and scratches are more evident. I have difficulty still in recognizing cleaned and altered finishes. It does appeared that this coin was dipped for to long at sometime. Just a guess. Quite sure it would not straight grade in any case. 50-55 now seems more probable. Thanks again for all the feedback.   |

AU details (cleaned)
you're last obv photo is showing horizontal hairlines crossing from K9 to K3 across the profile. this is an indication that the coin was wiped with something that was a abrasive enough to leave them. this could also result in what looks luster but is actually from being polished.
i can only call what I see and I believe the last 2 photos best represent the surfaces of the coin
