Ladies & gentlemen, I give you NOVILLERO! WE HAVE A WINNER!Yes, it is Lagos, Nigeria! Well done! PM your address and I'll send off your Morgan! Nice nice nice! CONGRATULATIONS!I really also have to thank everyone who played! Wheezydog was within 100 miles on 2 guesses. He was toying with me, I think! And DL20K with Accra, Ghana was only about 175 miles off too!

WOW! Cool. This definitely made my Sunday night as I periodically check CCF while working (for work) through this beautiful weekend.
I learned alot about geography after getting some of those clues. Thanks for the excitement.

Nice job novillero!
Thanks for the contest Moe. I'm not a code-breaker, so I was happy to have a shot at this one.

Lagos, Nigeria Congrats! novillero I was heading that way pretty quick. You were on the ball and deserve it. Thanks for the contest Moe. I sure liked it better than those code breakers. hint hint! If you are forced to land in one of the other airports in Nigeria, don't forget me. I knew that had to be one nasty place. Now what are these 282 people going to do there? Is this a humanitarian effort?

With 11 flight attendants and 4 pilots (I took myself out of the equation..) it adds up to 282 people (who aren't going anywhere if I don't go). Some passengers may be going for humanitarian reasons but I'm going for a purely mercenary reason (i.e., I don't get paid if I don't fly the airplane!) Thanks again to everyone that played! It was fun!(Novillero! Congratulations again! PM me whenever you're ready for some silver!)

Why 4 pilots? Do you not fly the whole trip, or are some of them deadheading?

Congrats NOVILLERO And thanks for the contest Moe, I think I was also on the right track, I thought I was grabbing a Nigerian location with my Niger guess. My interepretion of the Hints: Not a vacation destination, made me think humanitarian trip. Alot of languages, made me think Africa since there are more than 1000 languages spoken there. and the head east song was in the movie Sahara and when I went on the movie website, the had a map with Nigeria at the bottom. My last guess was Nambia, but decided to stay with that guess with the hopes everyone else would keep moving east. It was a lot of fun.

Just a FAA requirement for what's called ULF (Ultra-Long Flying) (more than 12 hour flights). A 2 person crew can only legally fly up to 8 hours flying time in a 24 hour period. With a Relief Pilot, that can be stretched to 12 hours, with each pilot getting around a 4 hour rest break. Anything over 12 hours requires two full cockpit crews (Captain & First Officer) and everybody works half the time and then rests. Just FYI: all 4 guys/girls are in the cockpit for takeoffs and landings.
