Very nice, but I'm not allowed to buy , sell or any of that for the time being... have 2 sets and I love those little darlings...The 65 you have will surely get VF 30 but more than likely EF ....But one never knows with Louis.....

hello again Coins, I enlarged the pic of your 65, on the rev. it appears the rim is wider on the left side. Is this a fact , kinda looks flat a bit... Are you aware of the counterfeit Newf Gold coins? aswell as the others.. Theres been quite a few great articles in the CCN....Some are real easy to spot others a bit more difficult .. Even some pros could make a mistake

Artdio,

What is your ebay name? It seems like things got off a little bit on the wrong foot, but it is good to see you sticking around. We also have an area where you can list your current auctions on ebay. Just scroll down through the different threads on the forum and you will find it.

To post the larger photos on photobucket, go to https://www.photobucket.com and make an account there. After you upload your pictures, if you hover over them they give you different options of how to post in different places. The bottom option is the one you want: it has "img" enclosed in brackets [ ] and you can post in a topic by copying and pasting that link (complete with the img portion) into the topic or reply you are writing.

[ img]your link to your photo will be here[ /img] (minus the spaces)

I'm glad you decided to stick around, too. You gotta remember that the forum founders have seen a lot of people come in and try to pull the wool over, so to speak - which is why they made the rules the way they did. One day, those same rules may protect you (you might not even know - there's a lot that goes on that we only catch a glimpse of, or none at all).

You mentioned you sell on ebay and if your name and reputation had been known then it would be different - not necessarily. We're a bit closer-knit than ebay for one thing and for another, if your first auction on ebay had been a $5000+ coin... do you see where I'm going? I'm not saying anything good or bad, just pointing it out. We're very happy to have involved and happy collector-members who care

What branch of service were you in?

Just saw your last post - Tights is a Moderator, so if he asked then it must be ok to give it.

Thanks xshift for the help.. I will surely check out photobucket.. And yes I understand what you are saying ... I guess perhaps if I would have started with a more common coin instead of the real expensive... Oh well thats water under the bridge now... I was in the Canadian Armed Forces ......

So if Tights asked then here it is.. If there is a way to forward to him or her please do so.... My ebay handle is sid-123 Here is a listing of mine that just ended 150371640654 an 1888 Half dollar shot with my digital..... Thanks again

hey there , Ya they are a very attractive coin I must say.. And considering the low low mintages they are not only Awsome but rather rare.. And a great fun trying to accumulate a set...
If there are other Canadian or Provincial coins you would like to see just ask, I might have a few to post pics...

Sorry about the delay artdio. Things got a little busy for myself outside of the forum. Having said that, thank you for the name.

In a nutshell, we are not against people posting external links here, we are just wary of new members doing it. I don't think you could comprehend how many spammers and other "fly by night" operators we get on a daily basis that are only here to make a quick dollar off of unsuspecting people. The good news is that our members are very knowledgeable, and what the staff doesn't catch, our long time members police for us. This typically goes unnoticed by members as they are caught before they can expand here.

Having said that, as stated in the rules, prior to 50 posts we ask that new members refrain from posting links OR ask permission from the staff. I am glad that you are sticking around and contributing, and I think you will come to love this place as many of us do.
