Mine was ordered today, so I shall report on the arrival date. Generally it takes a bit longer for US delivery, but it's coming FexEx so who knows?

Ya know what, the mint sure puts out alot of crap, ok,,,fluff (remember the guitar pick, aka milk token), but that tiger coin along with most of their other stuff is really out of this world. Hang on for price increases that start tomorrow.

That $15 Tiger coin is very cool looking! I am very tempted to get one for myself.

Dollarcoins/Nicholas, there is one right here: [eBayItem]300390880645[/eBayItem] One question on this auction was: Q: Hi. Is this the real coin from the Royal Canadian Mint? I understand there are a lot of counterfeits of this coin out there. NCLT conterfeits? Really?

As a follow-up to this post, I thought it would be interesting to take a look at current selling prices of the 2010 Sun Dollar via ebay. Since Dec 21, 2011, a total of 12 of these coins have been sold. The lowest selling price was $164.22 and the highest was $251.21. Eight of the 12 sold for under $200; the average selling price was $197.54. (All selling prices are in US$.) So, after a strong initial price rise following its quick sellout at the RCM, this one appears to be trending toward a relatively small premium (~30%) over its original selling price -- even with its limited mintage of 5,000. Where are all the silver dollar collectors?!

I'm just hanging back, waiting on a better price for this one and in the meantime checking other items off my list

Quote: Check your post office. Just phoned mine and it is in stock. Interesting. The coin is sold out but the post office has one. A friend mentioned that RCM product was on sale at his post office, got 20% off the 3 silver new quarter set.

aDk2: I used the ebay "Advanced Search" feature and selected the "Completed" listings option. It shows auctions that sold as well as those that did not get any bids. For the numbers above, I only included auctions that sold successfully.
