Have any British collectors found a Charles III 10p yet? I got a 2026 one in change yesterday. The 2023 and 2026 ones were apparently released simultaneously in August and the 2023 has a mintage of around 600,000 while the 2026 is around 6,000,000 (but could increase). It's ten years now since I actually got a full set of all denominations from 1p to £2 in change with that year's date - 2016 - even then, the 50p was a commemorative one, as the shield design was not issued for circulation.

Here's a picture of my 2026 10p - I was away from home yesterday and didn't want to try to take a photo with my phone!

Hiya. Noticed last night that the three Charles III 2025 £1 coins I've got - which arrived in my change separately - are all with the heft handed variety of edge reeding. (Some of the 2016 ones are, 2017 are not so common, and 2018 even less so.) I'm wondering if all of them will be like that?

Hi Spyro - I started a separate thread about these varieties here: https://goccf.com/t/492806I've found both varieties of the 2025 £1 in roughly equal numbers.

I had an unusual coin in my change yesterday - a 2016 Latvian One Euro: I was visiting a beautiful but dark medieval church and wanted to buy a guide book, priced at £2. I gave the churchwarden a £5 note and he handed me back three coins that I put in my pocket. It was only when I got home that I realised what I'd been given! Although €1 is worth less than £1, I was pleased as I didn't have a 2016 Latvian euro coin, and it helped the church as I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted to be stuck with a foreign coin when they cashed up at the end of the day!
