I live in Mass. and it seems that these types of varieties are found here or in neighboring states. I saw the first 92 close A.M. here then the second one from one of our members in Conn. Now 2 of the 82's from Mass. Nor sure where the second find was from though.

This is by far the most elusive doubled die of the zinc cent era, and worth a bundle. I would give much of the rest of my collection to find one of these. VERY nice find indeed!

Chuck this is the one I emailed you about back when it was posted on cointalk. For some reason I didn't catch it when it was first posted here. When I saw this today I first thought that this was #4 until I asw the date of the first post. Official count as of now is three specimens.

hello, I see my old post got dug up, fun to see it again. well since I found the 82 DDR it has been tucked in the safe not doing much. I will have to admit to taking it out occasionally to enjoy it or show it off. actually I should not say show it off, more like confuse people, most coin collectors do not know that it exsists. I was hunting for #4 but so far it has elluded my searchs, it would be fun, but I realize the error community might not take a real liking to me if I had #3 & 4, lol. the best of luck on all of your searchs, there must be more out there! david
