It may just be the angle shot of the coin..but if it's determined the coin is a 92 by the height of the 2, then the 2 I'm looking at in the picture seems so far above the standard 2 in 1992.

Lightened picture a little. Check out Lincolns bow tie, it changed to the blunt end and bottom in 1993. Appears to have taken a hit, but not the two point style.

Here is a 92 proof and you can see that the 2 is quite high compared to the 9.

Thanks for all of your replies.
To:MorgansRmine I was intrigued with your reply but did not have a clear understanding. So according to the bow tie what would you have guessed. In person the majority of the people I asked say it is a two. Thank you

Check the tie. If is has two separate points on the right side bottom, 1992, if not 1997. 1997 1992

Thanks MorgansRmine. Upon further inspection even though the bow has taken a hit like you said it appears to be a 1992. I would not ever have seen the difference in the bow tie if not for your information. So if I have it graded by ANACS will they determine the year? Once again thanks for all of your response

Don't forget to check the back for a Close AM or CAM in "AMERICA". The A and M should be touching or almost touching.

Looks like a 92 to my untrained eye

after reading some of these posts it makes me wounder. I have seen a few 92's in my own hand that looked to be closer than normal(normal being a lager seperation between the A and M) but seeing how they wernt touching nor was there a large seperation I didnt think them to be special so I just through them off to the side. so I'm woundering is there a mininum distance the A and M must have in order to be considered a CAM?

Very generally speaking: There is a visible difference between WAMs and CAMs. Another marker is the designer's initials at the east base of the memorial. WAM: initials close. CAM: initials farther away. It's easy to see the differences when you compare years with standard WAMs and CAMs.
