Oh, I didn't even realize it had changed! I didn't know I was supposed to hold a contest.

I'm a pilferer of the community!

I'm open to suggestions. How do I go about it and what do people typically do?

(I don't guess we hijacked this thread).

You arent, some people do wait until they have made pillar to hold contests but its not something you are "supposed" to do when you make pillar

I understand I'm not "supposed" to. But, if it is something like a gentleman's agreement, or a beer frame, or something like that - I'm in!

Nope, absolutely not. I'm not even sure why this would be asked by someone. There are many many pillars on this forum that do not even enter the contest section.

For me, seeing "SUPPORTER" in your name means quite a bit more than any contest. If not for the folks like yourself that donate to this great place, there wouldn't be any contests to participate in!

It's all good! Don't be so hard on yourself lafaa!

Thank you for the kind comments tights. I have taken so much from this forum, it only feels right to give back. Just like we would in the community that we live in!

I recently had a flying eagle that was pretty beat up that I was going to just toss, and thanks to a wonderful suggestion from j_h_s to donate it to a YN gave me the best of both worlds. It felt great to send it to a youngster who truly appreciated it.

So I see this as another opportunity to make another YN happy. Contest coming soon to a forum near you!

Nope, you do not have to hold a contest when you become a Pillar but you do have to get ready for the official Pillar tattoo. Bobby has the tattoo gun loaded with ink and ready to go for you, we promise that it won't hurt(too much...)
