In Southern Califiornia, the 2009 all have been floating around, but, the LP2 is very scarce, and the LP4, likeqwise, but more seen than the LP2. The 2010-D is everywhere, here. Dick

I'm in Northern Cali. I got two in my last box for roll searching. On a trip in Joshua Tree I got one in change at a local grocer. There were a bunch in the plexiglass donation box by the automatic change dispenser. Grrr.

I can say that here in Minnesota not hide nor hare of any 2010 pennies. Was at a coin show two weekends ago and all they were selling at the time was 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial rolls. Hey Adam-E did you say you were getting plenty of 2010 P's, when I come across some D's maybe we can work a trade. Unless your well off with D's! Just a thought.

Quote: Jim1953: Why would Houston and New Orleans get Philly cents before the guys in the backyard.? My turn: Why is Southern California getting all the 2010-D Cents instead of Denver? Quote: livingdinasaur: The 2010-D is everywhere, here. (in Southern California) LP2 seems to be the scarcest LP× in Denver as well; followed by the LP4, but, I just got another 'D' LP4 today!

I am in Pensacola and haven't seen one here yet. My mother visited last week from Memphis and had a purse full of them. She had more 2010s than other dates. Said she has been seeing them for quite a while.
I guess it depends on where you are.
One funny observation though... New coins distributed to Memphis are always "D"s. All these pennies were Philly.

Btw: As for 2009, I only find the LP2. The other 3 have been nowhere to be found for me.

Im in so cal and I went to a B of A last week and asked if they had any 2009 or 2010 pennies. She said yes we have 2010, I said give me 2 rolls, no make that 4 rolls, and I got them. I just figured they are starting to come out now and I didnt ask if someone had brought them in or they got them from the fed. I may call them back to see out of curiosity.

I have finally seen my first 2009 Dime, although technically not from circulation. I am still waiting to see my first 2010 coins.

Jbuck, That's funny .. I just got back from Lowes ... saw the new dimes in the cash register asked for five of them for change. They were all 2009 D's. So maybe we might start seeing more 2009 coins.
Ratio ... I did not know you were in Pensacola .. did not know there members that close to me.

The local Shell station here in South Houston had a full "Leave a cent, Take a cent" of 2010 cents yesterday. I threw in a quarter, grabbed 25 of them and left quickly!
