$550, Thad, OMG. Was that the one you sent off for grading? If I remember right, it graded MS-64/65? Great sale! And what did you buy with the windfall?

Yep, it came back NGC MS-65 RD....my best roll find ever! I still have the MS-62/63 one my friend gave me, so the 65 had to go. I've been buying stupid, little crap I've needed with the money...no coins. I'll end up blowing it all on other things I need besides coins. Lately I've need money for a lot of expenses and the like....my coin collection is getting smaller. I'm seriously thinking of selling 90% of my stuff and using the money to fund other things in life.

I found one, a 1901 in Good condition, but it has some scratches on the obverse. I did a happy dance when I found it! I've searched around 20 boxes, I think, and all within the past year.

In about 27,000 cents, I've found 3: 1890, G-6; 1894, AG-3; 1901, G-6. They were all in a batch of 1,350 hand rolled coins... Also in this batch were 3 1943 steel cents!

But it was just beginner's luck...

My best find was an Indian Head 1873 closed with good detail on the feathers. Was in college working in a deli and there it was...

I found one, a 1908 one of first rolls I searched though a few months a go. Haven't found any more, but I don't search anywhere near as much as some of you.

None here yet, but I've only searched 5 boxes so far.

It saddens me to know that when I was a kid I would find them here and there, but never knew what I really had in my hands!
