The one I have is scratched up a little bit with no mint mark on it. Should I still hold the contest?

I picked up a box on Friday of last week. I went through 10 rolls this evening and found a couple. The distribution in Toronto seems to be better than it is in some areas of the US :o)

When you go to a restaurant (mcdonalds, wendy's...) or a shop, look in the tip bins and look for shield pennies. Alot of times people will throw the pennies in tip jars or "take a penny, leave a penny" spots. If you see a few ask the cashier if they have any shield/ 2010 penny rolls. If they are nice (most dont care as long as there is no line) and they will look and you can usually buy them off of them. I found a total of 7 rolls by doing this (all shotgun). Try this next time.

They are around here in N. Central PA. As common as any other cent I suppose anymore. In the take a penny - give a penny trays at registers, if there is a real shiny one in there, most times that's what it is, a 2010 P.
I don't think they are very hard to find anymore.

Plenty of D-mints out here in California now. Well over 50 coins per brinks box. I've rolled-up 4 rolls so far, and I'm tossing the rest back into circulation.

I'm culling AU examples from pocket change and occasional roll searching. Only started about a week back. Even doing just that, I already have at least fifteen coins.

I got one box earlier this week and another today that appear to be all (P) shield cents. I'm not sure what to do with all of them. I was thinking of just saving a box, but two is a little too much.

There starting to turn up at local banks around here, (rochester ny). My bank deals with Brinks so there all packed via the plastic shrink wrap style. I wanna get my hands on some NF string rolls though.

Lots of 2010-D Shield Cents around Denver since I last reported in June.

I've bought a few BU rolls from cashiers' drawers, and have received
over two dozen in change since June.

I even put one in a 'Penny' tray.
