I just realized (1) I never posted a picture of the prize (will fix that today) and (2) I need your address, Scooby How difficult was this format for everyone? The 22 to choose from, with 12 items.. plus the guesses per day thing. Feel free to bash, I just want to know in case I end up hosting another round, so it isn't 'less fun' or more stressful

Congrats Scooby. My brain shut down last night about 8pm and I'd not looked at it at all. I kinda thought somone might sort it out before I got back but I was too tired to even open my book.
I really enjoyed this one, and I even managed to get my wife interested. The second guess feature added a bit more competition to the game as well. Thanks for hosting such a difficult and interesting game xshift.
ps, In my opinion, for what that's worth, difficult is better. Loved the game.

Nice one, Scooby! I got all tangled up in the permutations.
Thanks, xshift, for the challenge!

Thanks everybody!
That was definitely a challenge xshift. Once I finally figured out which 12, they just fell into place. I like the bigger game and challenge, but I don't think it's likely to attract more people to play, which is what I'd like to see - more players. But, we'll see.
I also notice my roll searching suffered! I couldn't shake this game! But it was definitely fun!
I'll host another one in a couple of weeks or so if no one else has.
Thanks to John Paul and Wolf for joining us. Maybe if we can just pick up an extra player or two per game, we'll be good!
Or maybe if we could keep the people we had.....

Scooby, I believe it's my turn to host. I can do it in about a week when my rambunctious family departs on a visit, and I'll have unrestricted computer time.

Congratulations Scooby!
xshift - I like the more difficult puzzle (not that I played the earlier rounds). I think making it more difficult may help even out things for folks who can't check the site all day - getting the clues a few hours later doesn't matter so much if the contest goes on for days. I think if you are going to do multiple guesses per day a harder contest is definitely a good idea. Thanks again for hosting, I am looking forward to the next one. (maybe I should practice on the earlier ones until then).

Wow, as a casual observer, that certainly looked to be more of a challenge. Nice job, Scoob!

Hey Steve, what's up with the casual observer stuff? As I recall, you're a previous defending champion.

It is just such a commitment to play! And if there's a round going when I'm on vacation in 3 weeks I will give it a go.

I know I promised pictures.. unfortunately my camera isn't cooperating. I think it needs a new battery. In any case, I managed to coax it into taking one this morning before it died again. Scooby, you'll just have to be surprised.. So, sorry for the delay.. everyone's stuff goes out today.
