The othes , 1858 10 cent is a great piece ms63 , like DBM and Coinsrfun this is a field guide for errors and variety , not sure that this would enhance the grade but I would think it adds value, for sure, nice coin.

crf and 1cent... where in the 1935 are you seeing wear?

jg86, I can't pinpoint any specific area of wear, all I can see are some marks that tell me the coin saw light circulation for a time, but not long enough to physically wear the metal of the coin. By definition, if there is no wear then it's an UNC, and I am sure the TPG graded it as such, probably MS-64. The third and fourth bead on the crown are also a little weak, but I (as well as CRF I would guess) attribute this to a weak strike and not physical wear. In particular it's the little scratches in somewhat protected areas that tell me this coin did see circulation, even if for a very short time.

As promised, here are the grades given by a TPG in Canada. very disappointing and,IMO,not correct. NFL 5 cents 1944 AU-50 10 cent 1858 AU-55 5 cents 1910 AU-50 25 cents 1935 MS-62

Just noticed the results but this is what I would have guessed.
1. 1944 5C MS-63 Die Clash by DEI 2. 1858 10C AU-50 Die Clash @ 11:00 on Reverse 3. 1910 5c Ms-64 4. 1935 25c AU-55
Being an amateur, I would beleive all their grades but the 1910. May not be a MS-64 but how can they say its AU-50? A lot of these coins were lightly struck.
I would seriously consider re-grading the 1910 elsewhere.

1 cent, sorry it is NOT 4 sale at this time... it is much too beautiful to part with. maybe some other time. Yea... you hit the nail on the head with your comment. will not mention the TPG, but a major KNOWN and expensive Variety was misgraded also by marking the wrong obverse!

Beautiful photos. Ugly grading, for the most part

I wonder if what you have is a case of "cabinet friction" type marks HHB. I looked at the pictures again very closely and I see the neck/cheek area of the 1944, the braid under the ear on the 1858, and the ear/cheek/eye of the 1910 as areas that do appear to have a slight rub, but it's possible that they are handling/storage marks from the past. Just as CRF said "AU / MS-63", it can be such a fine line sometimes.

Yes 1 cent, that may be so. I ONLY wish it would then be consistent and would be so with ALL coins, not just really nice ones. In this last grading batch, the inconsistent Kremlin was rampant..
