Hi Tim
Im a life Member of the NAHC,, I started this collection, but they would not deliver the rest of them to a PO Box ? I'm not sure what the deal was, but when I called to sort it out they stopped sending them.
I just let it drop.
They are a nice silver round, collectable well I guess to a point they would be, but being very boldly labeled NAHC will limit there open collectability ,, at least in My opinion.

That's a nice collectible,I would pay $18 for it,and a whole set would make it more valuable!! Thanks for sharing, maybe you could show them to us as you get them,if you decide to. :) sn31.

Thanks for all the replies. I will post a new one when I get it every other month. I wish I could get 2 of the same one so I could have one for me and sell one.

Ben,that is a very nice gun cabinet you have got there.Did you notice the symbol of the Freemasons on it? It is the one with the calipers & set square with the letter 'C' inside it. Aidan.

OK, I received 2 more in the mail yesterday. Here is the obverse pictures. The back is the same on all the coins. Bighorn Sheep Elk Problem is, they now want $39.95 each for these. I know my 1st offer said if I accept the collection that I will lock in the $18.00 price, so I don't understand. I sent the club an Email to verify the price. I am just waiting on a reply. I love these coins, but am not sure if they are worth $40.00 each. What do you guys think?

Something definately isn't right. Also someone else on this thread mentioned that they too had some kind of problem with delivery of these coins. Why don't you google this Sunshine mint and the item. Such as "problems with sunshine mint" or "complains about sunshine mint." I do this stuff all the time with products and companies. It's EXTREMELY helpful.

Hi thingee, The coins are minted at the Sunshine mint, but it is my North America Hunting Club that is sending them to me. If I do not like these or do not want to keep these, I have to mail them back to NAHC. It was Metalman that is a member of the same club and the postage thing was because they would not mail to a P.O box. I will google NAHC and see what I come up with. Thanks for the tip...

Something doesn't sound right about that Tim. Maybe it is $40 for both of them? After taxes and shipping that would still get you close to your original $18 per coin. I hope they are and that they clear it up as I have seen complete sets of these and they are really nice. I think the one of the grizzly bear is pretty cool, hopefully you will get it worked out and get them all. If not, then buy them on your own. I see them on ebay fairly regularly either as singles, pairs or complete sets. You could probably get a set together without buying them from NAHC if they don't come through on the deal.

Stop It While You Can!!!!
I am a life member of The North American Fishing Club. They are the same people.
They are nice coins but they will as you found out raise the price and just when you think you have the set almost done they add more coins.
And then they start with the calendars and other stuff. BEWARE!!!!

Be careful. I have been in similar situations and "bait and switch" seems to be the name of the game. If you can not get any answers from them fairly quickly regarding the price increase the time to cancel may run out and then you have a real problem on your hands. If you do continue to receive them, other stuff will start coming and to me it is just not worth the headache trying to keep track of all of the items you don't want.

I would pay $18 but no more unless silver went up a few more dollars. I have 2 medallions from NAHC one has a buck on it the other a mountain lion. They are a bronze color.

Hi Tim, sounds like a lot of red flags flapping in the breeze on this deal...as an outdoorsman you will know what I mean when I say be careful not to get hooked while tasting the bait. This change in terms of the deal sounds like what the usmint just did flooding the market with products that when first offered seemed to be very limited. Irishraider had some good advice concerning the aftermarket...you probably can pick these up cheaper than $40 a pop on ebay from other buyers who are dumping them. In closing, I must say they are very nice in the photos, and the bottom line in collecting is always to collect what you like! Dennis
