I wrote the seller. Lets see what happens. Maybe the coin he pulled was the wrong one to photograph.
Hello, Your reverse image for the first coin appears to have a mintmark S.
The coin is a 1916 dated coin. Did you show the wrong coin or are you
unaware that you may have them mixed up?
Please clarify, you would do
better for the auction if you had it showing the reverse of a 1916 D.

I'm claiming it's a real 1916 D and posting pics of an old ANACS cert but I'm really selling a 1916s. Check back next week, I'll have another one that looks more like a real D.

I think the seller meant to show the 16-S, and then to show to 16-D. Look at the other pics and there is definitely a 16-D.

I would think the "16D" is the most important coin in this sale and the selller would get that one coin right Good pic of Obv. & Rev. something just isn't right NO RETURN  and the bid seams low for only a few hours left.  |

No offer to send me an image of the 1916 D tho. There is an ANACS photograde card in the listing with an image of a 1916 D that is not graded but in the first group of photos of the three 1916 dimes in the listing, none resemble the photo on the card. The one on the card has a lot more rim wear than any of the others.

Did he realize he posted a picture of the wrong ANACS cert? Or the reverse of the wrong 1916 coin? Or the wrong album of coins? Oh, wait, he got that one right...cuz it has writing in the album.
Speaking of that, who here writes in their album?

This seller doesn't normally sell coins. He admits to not knowing much about them.

Right wheezy...the coin on the cert has rims merged well into the letters, the one in the album has complete "LIBERTY"
