Great find! The 2000 is getting less and less available for finding in raw form. How to rid that spot? Let us know what works. Spots are tough to clean when they get that far along.

I have already completed conservation. That final spot cannot be removed without causing severe damage to the coin. I'd rather have that remaining spot than an obviously cleaned and damaged coin.

How many WAMs have you found now, Thad? I will count mine tonight.

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure. Probably around 15 or so, mostly 98's.....more importantly, two 99's!

BadThad, I remember the brilliant 99 WAM you posted. Nice coin. What did that grade? I can't remember if you answered that question B4.

Found a 2000 WAM last night also. Not nearly as good as shape as yours. And these are getting harder to find in the wild. I have found only 2-2000's this year and about 10- 1998's. Still no 1999's. :(

Just ran a count. Including the 3 1998 and 2000 WAMs I have given away it stands at:
1998 WAM 25
2000 WAM 27

And 1 1999
