My Friend got the 1867 Isabel II 4P XF authenticated by PCGS. Very nice coin. He's the only sole holder for the said grade World Wide. I'd like to post the picture but I have to ask him first.

an 1867 Isabel 4p cost already above a million worth. How much more if it was graded top notch. I can wait to see its pictures to the family Malikot

Pandesalapi @ FYI: PCGS has graded another 1867 4P which is higher . It was graded AU55. Total Population for 1867 4p Isabel Gold is now 2.

1861-1868 4 Peso Isabel thickness? Need help with dimensions of the 4 Peso Isabel.
I hope it's ok to bump old threads, but this looked the most appropriate to post. I am in US, but bought an 1863 4 Peso Isabel on-line in Philippines as a gift and had it sent directly to my friend in Philippines. I wish to purchase a bezel for mounting into a necklace since it is a piece with some wear on it already.
Best I can tell the diameter is either 21 or 22 mm, and the thickness is approximately 1 mm. Bezels fit very tight, especially with thickness. My friend does not have the resources to measure thickness accurately.
Can anyone on the forum who owns one of these tell me what is the thickness of these coins?
Thanks!

Hi Goldmark10 welcome to the community... Its size is 22mm and its thickness depends on its denticles/edge condition. Mint state condition based on records should reach at least 3/16", I hope my memory serves me right. One thing I am sad about is your wish to have the 4 peso Isabel gold coin mounted to a gold bezel for necklace. I hope you will soon change your mind in turning the coin to a pendant of a necklace...please?
