Does that "S" stand for "SILVER"? Congrats! I managed to find 3 war-time in the last box I searched, and I felt lucky! I've never found more than 3 in one box before.

Nice find, I just picked up a box of nickels earlier this week. I didn't realize how many nickels are in 100$s worth... It takes quite some time to go through it!
Looks like you got it easy! Right in front of you. Hehe.

Awesome! Wish I got a roll like that. The box I'm going through now has been dry. I usually average 1-2 per box too.

I probably shouldn't tell this story but it relates the the post. I ask for about ten rolls of nickels at the bank and when she set them on the counter end up the first thing I saw was a very dirty buffalo. It was customer wrapped so alot of it was covered. I picked it up and on the other end was a 41' Jefferson. I though I had something great, even called my friend after I left the bank to brag. I pulled into a parking lot to open it so I could go back to the bank and see if there were any more. I ripped it open and grabbed the buffalo turned it over and............ JEFFERSON!! Oh crap. 2005! It looked like a pond coin all dirty and black. The only good coin in the roll was the 41' on the other end. Guess I'll never brag without a little closer examination next time. This might have been a good post by it's self. "Most embarrassing moment coin collecting."

Nice end coin! I've never had a war nick on the end of a roll, but have had a Buff on the end before. Twice I've had boxes of nicks with 4 wars in it.
