dsmalouf, it was about $15 with free shipping for the 4 note sheet. I haven't seen any 2009's in circulation yet but I know they're out there.

I have a question about sheets. Are the edges always trimmed before they leave the BEP ?

What do you mean Zee? I have a 32note sheet of 1981 and a 4note sheet star of 1976. I'll post pics if it will help answer your question.

Thanks for the reply. What I am curious about is if the edges of the sheet are trimmed to remove the sheet number.

On the back of the sheet, in the location of the note with the "A" faceplate, is where the sheet number should be located. Here is a photo of what I am talking about.

Not sure about a 32 note sheet, but my 16 doesn't have it so I'm assuming they trimmed it.... I never even knew that there was such a thing as a "sheet number."

I found it. I have a question though. I have seen some error notes that were cut weirs so you get part of the next bill on your note. Couldn't that be someone getting these sheets and cutting them in bad spots and claiming they are errors?

Yes, it happens all of the time. Such notes are not error notes though. There are a couple of methods to easily tell the difference between an error note and a scam.

1981 32note is not trimmed. 1976 4star note is. I haven't seen a later series uncut full sheet so I hope this helps answer your question.

Yes bvalania, it does, I am quite appreciative of the photos as well. I did not know that the sheet numbers were located in both upper corners of the sheet. Are they in the lower corners as well? I have never owned a sheet, but after seeing yours, I might have to locate one of my own. Thanks very much for your help.

edited to add: Are those bar codes at the top of the 32 note sheet or just black marks?

I think they're just black marks but they have to serve some sort of purpose because all sheets have them

I'm not sure what's on the bottom, (the frame covers it) I'll take them out and find out. I've wanted to put them in a nicer/matted frame for a while so this will be my chance.

No bvalania, please don't do that. I don't want any mishaps on my part. It really does not matter at all. It was just curiosity getting the better of me, and I posted the question. You have already answered more than sufficiently. Thanks very much.
