I too think that is a unique type of type set. With the economy the way it is lately I don't see coins on the ground at all anymore. Doesn't it make you wonder how those got that way.

Great idea! Get a capital plastic holder and put it on a mount above your fireplace!

I like you.
By the way, do you climb mountains?

Hi SuperDave, Yes I do. Colorado 14'ers are one other thing I collect. How about you?

I live in flat, flat New Jersey, where the only mountains we have are associated with highway overpasses. The 14's are a pipedream for me, unfortunately, but one that I hold very close to the top of the list. I want very, very badly to stand atop Crestone Needle before I die.

SuperDave! I live in flat, flat Kansas! Amazing you would mention the Needle. I summited it just this summer. If you want to continue this conversation via email send PM. --Staff Note: E-mail address removed to protect member from spam-bots. Please use the "Email Poster" option above.

Quote: Don't forget to put it in a scratched and cracked holder! Drive over a Capital plastic holder a couple of times. Once over the obverse, then flip it over and drive over the reverse. Bonus points if your roadkill coins are in the holder as you're running it over...

Before you go mounting that over your fireplace... I'm sure you could downgrade that Kennedy if you wait long enough! Other than that, it's an awesome set!

Now you need to develop a grading system...er...a DEgrading system to classify them beauties. I love DIFFERENT collections.
