Quote: I'm a collector and an investor and these are working well for me on both accounts.
I like the fact that we dont have to wait verry long for the next design to come out other wise I would probably spend my money on other coins while waiting for them and not have enough cash when they did come out but I am sold on the proof like surfaces.

My coins came from DSD. They were in a bubble mailer filled with this weird plastic stuff just stuffed in the mailer and then stuffed in a well-taped box. I kind of feel like I'm going to barf.

I thought they were packaged very appropriately for the bullion product that they were sold as...They were not sold as numismatic items

Topic cleaned up. Buying and selling is NOT allowed in the main forums. This time there were suspensions handed out.

So, who got their 2010 ATB from DSD/Prudential and who still waiting? Silver is back almost to $38/oz (break even point). I got mine, but the quality is soso. They shipped the coins in a sheet of flip inside a small Priority Flat Rate box.

Anyone continue to pursue this series? I still need the last 3 coins of 2011. I was waiting for a major dip to buy them. Missed out when silver was at $28/oz.
I just got my latest 3 P-mint coins ordered.

I have all 5 of the 2011 bullion coins in hand now, bought them for apprx. $180.00 each on average during the beginning of the dip a month ago. Probably should have gotten Gettysburg, Glacier & Olympic as soon as they were released, as these mid or later runs have the average PL or near PL surfaces, whereas Vicksburg and Chickasaw have very deeply mirrored surfaces because most of the coins out there now for these two are most likely early runs. I'll probably continue to get these in 2012 in bullion and beyond. Next year's coins should just be as dynamic as these past two years, the Hawaiian Volcanoes coin should be awesome in the 3" size. I am still on the fence regarding the 5 P-mint coins for 2011, although I am definitely going to get Vicksburg, totally not committed to the other four yet.

Bizybackson, where did you got your bullion coins? Goldmart seemed to have the lowest price on many silver and gold product; however, they don't have the 5oz ATB. I saw Provident selling at spot+$2.99/oz. I'll probably hold off my purchase until there's another drop in silver spot; I also need to save "bullets" for the Mints coins.

Bruce: All from Provident, ordered the last two a few days after silver dropped $10 to about $30, because that's all they had listed as in stock. Then had I waited 3 or 4 additional days, the other three reappeared in the inventory so I grabbed those at $31.44/oz silver. Paid with a USPS money order, the turn around was exactly a week. All single coins come in individual Air-Tites, and each order was $8.95 shipping. Much better pricing than at APMEX, can't justify paying $12.95-$19.95 shipping on products that are cheaper elsewhere. I really like Provident's speedy service, much faster than APMEX as well. You will enjoy these underrated coins, might have to get an extra Gettysburg and Vicksburg for a future Civil War subset.

Thank you for all the detail info. I am splitting between trying to get them now before silver go up or wait for another drop...... Provident shipping is a lot better than APMEX and the price is cheaper too. Btw, are there any other PM dealers selling these (beside APMEX and Provident)?

I suspect any of the usual suspects will offer them as they get them from the secondary market.
