I will not do a 'redo', or a postponement. I will start a brand new game. It will start Friday night after darts or first thing Saturday morning. Start time will depend solely on my wife's mood after I beat her at darts Friday night. I may be on the couch with nothing to do all night but respond to guesses anyways. (final week of our Friday night and the team I captain has to play against the team she captains).

I will prepare a short list of currencies, the number I choose for the answers will be 7, and the time between guesses is still to be decided.

well at least I know I got back on track. That was a tricky little twist there rikcando. Did you actually plan to have the same currency in there or was that at random act of chance?

one other question now that this is over. how would you have scored docs guess had he not made a typo (I assume it was a typo) on GBP listed twice in the string, would that have been 4

The answers were randomly selected. But then I went and edited Game #2 answer so that they it matched Game #2 on the sixth currency. I figured it would be a lot of fun to figure out.

I think you are referring to RUB, GPB, BAM, VUV, GPB, JPY, TWD. If it was corrected to use GBP the response would have been 8/5.

Sorry, if I recall correctly, the first answer was actually copied from MasterMind game #1. The second game was random.

Yes, it was DEFINITELY a typo. I got 4/3 back and almost fell off my chair thinking that was imposible. Then I noticed I put GPB instead of GBP.

I noticed the typo when I typed it in. I tried waiting to see if you were going to correct it. I am not sure if you know the rules on that, but if you edit a guess it becomes invalid and will not be responded to. You should edit the guess and note that you made a mistake and then repost a correct guess in a separate post.

I didn't notice it until you responded back with 4/3. I had it typed into my spreadsheet and copied it to the CCF. I'll make note of that for the next one! Hopefully I'll go to bed earlier than I did the last few nights. Thanks for the game rikcando!

Sorry I missed out on playing and providing you guys with some competition. I just couldn't keep up with one guess per hour. By the time I added everyone's guesses in and starting thinking about my own, someone else would post and I would have to update my spreadsheet again.

I like having a little time in between guesses to think about it, relax and have fun with it. Then I started feeling guilty that I was disrespecting Moe's puzzle. But, who had time for that?

I do appreciate you hosting rikcando, it was just a bit too much for me.
