I was just thinking this the other day. The ATB Quarter's scenes are so much better. Some of the State Quarters were good. Colorado comes to mind, but some of them were really terrible. Nothing more than a state outline with some garbage around it. |

So far, you are correct. I hate to suggest this; but, give em time cause I think they'll eventually screw them up.

The State Quarters are one of my favorite series. But I do think the ATB's are a much better design. Not sure yet if I will like the ATB's but I am sure I will like them just as much. Last year I purchased all five two roll sets. I am hoping I will be able to continue to buy all the rest. Of course I am not liking that they raised the prices for most everything I like to buy from the mint. |

I really wish the State Quarters were as well thought out as the ATB. I wanted to collect all the state ones but I WILL collect all the ATB ones. |

I like the State Quarters, but like the ATB's more. The designs just look better overall. |

i was cleaning my room this evening and stumbled upon my only ATB Quarter that I got back in change from last year. I was admiring the design and was thinking to myself that ATB's are a better designed then the Statehood Quarters. then I log on here and see this thread. I gotta agree they do pop. |

I like the the designs that I have seen so far. Also on a design aspect I think there is more of a cohesion with the ATB Quarters design. I like how the reverse is set up with the date, state, and park on the outer ring on the reverse. There is more uniformity to the series as a whole. I just wish it was easier to get them in circulation, like the statehood series was. |

And for those who've received their 2011 Proof or Silver Proof Sets...... THESE 5 ATB's, JUST BLOW ME AWAY ! Every one of the five qtrs. for 2011 are just incredible to me ! The Glacier Natl. Park one ......that's just really something ! They're all done just so well for this year.....  Edited by eaglefoot

However, I do have a friend that has sent me a few of them.  I also have the annual proof sets to compare. Long gone are the days I saw a new date in circulation before I received a proof set. |

I voted for the ATB's as well. There beauty is both in the subject and the simplicity. Some of the State Quarters had just way to much subject matter in the field, the ATB's have one subject and they did a beautiful job engraving. If you get a chaance to see the 5ozer's you will admire them even more. |
