Couple litle dings on the rim but still a ms-65+++ if I could I ll defnately buy one ! I like to know how much are you about to pay for it ? My guess is some big bucks 350-450 dollars my guess. One thing for sure you can buy and one day if need easy sale because collectors with lot of money and grade sets would pay big bucks to have that in their collection plus any coin dealer ll want to have this merchandise to offer on theyr display , my op !

I will say MS-65+ to MS-66 RD for this coin. Definitely has 66 luster and surfaces but the rims may hold him back.

Raw from where? Just beware, there's lots of fakes out there and I can't see the MM well enough to be sure...but it looks OK. Should be an easy 64, about $275.

Should arrive at my house on Wed/Thursday. I paid $230 shipped for this coin. Yeah...I am NOT big on buying coins unseen...but this one looks VERY nice.
Of note, I saw two slabbed MS65 RB 31 S's at a coin dealer. He was asking $600 each. They are not in the same ball park as this coin.
Coin has not been slabbed.

MS-64 RB with a shot at 65. A nice deal at that price!

MS-64...but looks like a pretty good ding on the rim above WE...that may hold it back.

If that is a ding on the rim, then yeah, no way a 66. Still looks like it can make full RD though. Not in hand.

31 S and it's older cousin a 25 plain (raw) arrived today.
The 31 S is a slabbed coin from PCI some time ago. Grade is MS63. The goofy looking "chad" above "WE" is some overhang by the insert, not damage to the coin. Believe it will go 64 with a shot at 65. This is NOT the reason I bought the coin. Bought the coin because of the condition and it was priced right ($230). In my original post above, I was thinking of the 25 plain, when I posted this thread (sorry!).
The 25 plain cent is in a 2x2 card. Another very nice coin.
When we get the house unpacked and I figure out how to take quality pictures, will post pictures of the first page in my Dansco and some on the second page.

Thanks BadThad - this is the 10 digit, long hyphen between the date and mintmark.
"Green Label, ten digit serial number- Very conservative grading, at all grades. These slabs with a PQ designation almost always upgrade a point at PCGS. All PCI slabs seem to be lumped together as far as price goes, so you can find some real steals on these slabs."
Believe this coin will bump to 64 with a shot at 65.
Still on the fence to crack it and send the coin in. Never cracked a slab before.
As all of you know, buy the coin, not the slab. So, so, so true in this case. This is a beautiful coin.
I saw two PCGS MS 65 graded coins two weeks ago at a coin shop. They were nice coins, but not $600 nice...no matter what the slab said.
If I did send this coin in and it bumps two grades, I would probably sell it to put a dent in the purchase of a nice 09 S VBD.

You don't have to crack it. Just submit to PCGS in that slab. They won't crack it unless you get a higher grade. No way I'd crack that PCI slab, those are actually respected by those "in the know".
