i also live in North County San Diego and A LOT of DENVER mints come through.
since last summer I have been very lucky to have found:
1998...1
1999...1
2000...1
not bad for a wets coaster right?
i cannot seem to find many of these, as the philly cents rarely come out this way. no luck with the 92 CAMs or other varieties either.. jsut copper, which I sell a $25 box for $50.. any profit is good profit

I have been searching for WAMs since 2000. That is when I first read about them and started looking. I found most of them in the early years. I haven't seen that many in the last couple years. Last month I found two 1999-WAMs in one day. That was a thrill. I have some of them in tubes that I want to take them out to photograph and put in 2x2s, but I am still thinking about using airtites and then 2x2s like the way BadThad has.

From the responses posted I see that the 1999 is very elusive. With the 1998 & 2000 numbers, I don't understand the wide price difference. To me it seems they have been found in more or less equal numbers.
