And another question is that if it is a clash, does it take away the value of the VDB. I know it's not a real expensive coin anyway(I paid $5 when I got it 2 years ago). Just wondering, thank you in advance

I'm thinking AU-58 with obverse porosity bringing the grade down. It's a pretty one!

I'll leave the neck "clash" to the experts. I've, personally, never seen anything like it...

I'm with Moe145 on the grade but I'm not sure if that's porosity or not...Hmmmm?

Gosh, that "clash" looks like a scratch when I zoom it up. That's to say, if I'm looking in the right place...

I can't grade it, too much glare where I want to see. I think it's a very lovely VDB, though, and that finish almost looks matte-like, FWIW...

I found a 1909-S with the same exact "clash"marks...

I was wondering about the "matte" look of it, I have no clue about this one. It's been eating at me for awhile. Also, the rim is really thick, to me at least I will try to get a darker pic of the area and outline it(or try to)

The 2 arrows point to the main area near the date, and I found another point of interest right behind the neck. I know my photography leaves a bit to be desired, I still gotta figure that one out I appreciate everyone's help, you guys are the best

Thanks Coop I'm glad I finally know what this one is. My first Clash find, the 1909-VDB, now it's a matter of separating this into my Lincolns, or with my errors
