Yes I would call that barber a cull, a silver cull but a cull none the less.

Put them all in a bag and take them to the bank. Should go through a coin counter, maybe.
Or give to some kids and let them play with them.
Or put in those collection things for the Salvation Army.
Or drill holes in them and use as fishing weights.
Mainly stop collecting them.

I think if it has a date it can have a home. There are alot of people who would love to have an old IHC to fill a hole even if it's worn. I have a full set of Buffalo nickels but they are ugly. Alot of people wouldn't be caught dead with them but it's a full set and it's the best I could do on my budget. Turn the dated culls in at the bank and let someone find a little treasure. Silver no date culls are a different story, I get rid of those on ebay and use the money for my collection.

My favorite cull

Culls--Why-Keep-Em? Culls--Why-Keep-Em?

1798 S-144 one of only about 20 or so known. My last 1798 and one that was on my "I'll never be able to get one" list. (Lists in Fair -2 at around $5,000.)

Exactly what might end up in my 1877 hole.

I am good if it is round, flat, and has a (magnifying glass readable) date. What I will not settle for is a warped, holed, or severely corroded coin. However, if I had a warped, holed, or severely corroded 1877 IHC, I would keep it in my miscellaneous album.

I love old coins - even if they are beaten up. It's nice to think about where they have been, so I don't get rid of any culls I come across.

If there is an interest then I may auction then off, or give them away on this forum. There are many early wheats I think. I will post within the next 2 weeks and first come first serve. If someone here can give them a home I would feel better than getting rid of them elsewhere.

Some people put sets together of the worst examples of coins that they can find. I've seen this done with Morgan dollars but Indian cents, mercs or whatever your heart desires would work just as well.

I have bought many lots of nickles the past few years and have
a couple rolls of culls. I've been wondering myself what to do
with them.
