For iphone I have "Quarters" and "iCoin$"
Neither are great but seeing them on my phone provides the constant reminder to double check my change. Still prefer using spreadsheets though.

I have been using TreasureBox on my iPhone to keep track of my collection and like it a lot. I hope that helps.

Has there been any developments with regards to an iphone coin app?

You could use iPhone app called TurboScan to photograph your coins - the app makes PDF files. Its a quick and easy way to get a digital snapshot of your coins if you like PDF. I'm considering doing this for my collection.... for now.

Yes, I use an app called USCoin. I think it's made by Saintsoft LLC. I like it because I can input just about anything I want about the coin including the image. It doesn't automatically supply a value but it has a great feature where it provides the PCGS facts about the coin and I can look up the value from recent auctions or the PCGS price guide. It's the best on the market that I have found right now.

I have been using one of the Saintsoft titles (gold collector maybe). They have at least 3 of them for the iPhone. I really like the ability to set up a set that I want, then when I get coins, it removes it from the "buy list". I can just scan my buy list and see what I am missing. Pretty handy especially when starting a collection. I have 9 of the 108 Morgan dollars I want so I definitely don't want to be buying any duplicates...

I purchased TreasureBox for the Iphone and while I find it very slick to use, fully customizable, I found after only entering 4 coins that it would shut itself down. When I tried to relaunch it again it just shuts down again making the app completely unusable .

I've got an email out to the makers and will wait to see what they say before passing complete judgement. I just wanted to let everyone know this before making the purchase.

I'll let everyone know what comes of the situation. Really disappointing because it showed some promise.

Not strictly a coin app but it is one that comes in very handy is Mag light by Falcon in Motion LLC. for the Iphone. I got it for reading fine print as it uses the camera along with the zoom feature.
It has a crystal clear mode, image stabilizer, high contrast, enhanced freeze in looking at the setting section it has its own photo album, and you can control the light level.
I haven't used most of the features as I have been up til now using it as a reading aid.
I have the free version and they have a paid pro version.
I have no interest other than a satisfied user, I haven't encountered any problems.

I found a PCGS App called "CoinFacts" that is incredible, but isn't cheap ($12.95 per month, or a subscription for $99/year)... The app has an online database to access 30,000 U.S. coins. It gives current prices, auction records, circulated population and nice images. The information and photos hosted on the CoinFacts website are quickly accessible on your computer or smartphone.

Can always plug for my own program, Numismetrica. See my signature. It works with any desktop with a modern web browser as well as mobile devices (iPhone, Android).

Basic accounts are free (which handle most peoples' collections just fine).

Numismetrica should work on any device with a web browser, but it works best on Symbian^3 and higher.
