I also received my Yellow Stone today, Very Happy! But very frustrated, the release dates so close together is very difficult for me. But I'm gonna try my hardest to stick this thing out! So count me in for the remainder of this year. I'm trying to get an apprenticeship with local Linemen. I have an interview on the 9th. I'm really hoping goes excellent. One of the added benefits would be being able to continue this series.

Quote: So count me in for the remainder of this year. Agreed, me too. At least for the 2010 releases. Gonna have to tighten the belt a notch (or two), but hey, that would be a good thing for me anyway. hehe... We'll see about the 2012 releases but for now I'm in for the first 10 pucks. Silver is still at 38 bucks or so at this point... we'll see if the bottom falls out of it. I may revise that strategy if/when silver tanks down to 20 or below. I want them as numismatic pieces but it makes no sense to pay (even higher) giant premiums over what the silver is worth. I realize the mint had to pay market for the silver but I think if the bubble bursts, it'll be easy to find 'em on ebay for closer to spot. However, current ebay Yellowstone sales I see are around $335-$350, which is nice, especially considering the Yellowstone puck is still available from the mint @ $280. Oh, and check this one out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...270758427278Anyone biting on this gem?

That seller posted a thread about the same "double strike" Yelly last week. $995.00 for a barely perceptible "error" -wow. If he knew anything about these coins, they are all double struck to bring out the high reliefs, and the 2nd strike might be off a fraction of a mm off from the first. Not a true repetitive DDO or DDR like on the smaller coins which are struck ONCE... Good luck selling it at that price.

Yet another case of "no listing fees" auction. I received mine yesterday and am quite pleased with it. This one came packed obverse side up as opposed to the first one. Like it better as they are tough to pry out. These coins have a strong impact on non collectors. Every time I show one to people at work or family members they express real interest. More the size than anything else but still nice. I have shown non collectors rare CC Morgans in MS cond. and all I get is "Why would anyone pay so much for a dollar" LOL

Regarding Silver price, I feel were lucky at this point. Sure the premium is high. But the price is no where where it should be. I'm almost positive were seeing a price right now that were not going to see for a year or two. I wrote I was frustrated with the fast track release. But now that I think about it, Its better off this way. What does everyone else feel, is it possible we might be able to finish the 2010 series before silver makes a big jump. You figure August will be the last of 2010 series right. So how high will silver be in three months. You know what this would make for a fun game. Think Ill start a new post and offer a prize. Where would be a good place to post this. Under games and giveaways, I'll give the winning person a current National Park Quarters P&D Set. Figure person has to be right on the money, if no one is we go to the closest price with out going over, or just the closest price. I'll even give out a second and third prize. Second place will get a P&D National Park Quarter, Third will get BU P&D 2010 Lincoln Cents. Silver Price Prediction for Aug 17 2011, Only 1 entry per person, must be posted by Friday June 3rd 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time, Please leave in numerical format for easy copy and paste. What do ya think should I make this a go?

Quote: Olympic NP 5oz is now available from fidelitrade the question is will they be the lowest priced authorized purchaser for these ? I have seven buyers lined up on a (subscription program)with me and more to come at $9.00 oz over my cost per coin did the same with Gettysburg & glacier my job is to find the lowest authorized purchaser price & track when the next authorized purchaser will be selling I will have a free 69 set in 2021 + $ Interesting but why would people line up to buy from you at $9 oz over your cost? It must be kind of like the people selling Mint products on ebay at a premium while they are still available at the Mint. I guess if they're paying you $45 to find them the best price it's not really the best price.

I was a buying these pucks as fast as they came out up until now. I thought silver was going to go up for sure at $35 an ounce, but now I am a little sceptical. I think July will be a great time to catch up on the Olympic and any others that come out. August I think prices will rebound but only back to today's level. My prediction...$37.25

amassey that's one good looking coin! Thanks for sharing.
Far as silver prices go, I think we'll be stuck in the 30-40 range for a few months here. My guess for august end is $30/oz.
I think you'll definitely get more participation on this one if you move it to the contests section.
