did you really buy them just to keep them in those slabs? I hope not.

Most 69's will sell for just a small premium over a graded example anyway so I don't think it would hurt to break them out. I have broken out PF-69's quite a few times without ever thinking twice. Its the 70's in the PCGS slabs that I would never crack out. I have had these Ben Franklin since they came out and really the only dollar commems I have except for the ones that came in the 3 coin sets

Very nice!

I would have no problem breaking those out and slipping them into a Dansco album. For the record, resale is not an option for me.

i would have to say if you have another home for them I would break them out as well......most of the modern commems would grade high ms grades anyways so unless its the perfect 70 just enjoy them out of their shells! BEAUTIFUL commems!

I'm kinda new to this, but I think if a premium was paid to slab the coin by someone, and then another premium was paid to buy them because they were graded so highly by a well reguarded third party grader, that cracking them out would be a serious waste of resources.

Just My Humble Opinion

OK, dumb question. I noticed a typo in my post above.
How do you edit these? I'm slow today so there's probably an edit button
staring me in the face.. :)

should be third icon at the top of that post, beside the time posted. paper with pencil/pen, click that to edit. In most of the forum, you can edit them up to a day IIRC. It will show below the post when edit it, like this post that I have edited.

EDIT: if its just a type-o should be fine, but usually if its a larger edit, many people add a note about what was edited.
