It'll definitely be worth more than face value. How much more, is hard to say. It just hasn't happened enough yet for the market to determine a reliable estimate for this coin. You could make a guesstimate based on a coin in a similar condition from an earlier series, but they're still not given in catalogues - ebay might be the best guide at this stage. I seem to recall hearing a rule-of-thumb figure of one-third of the uncirculated price being quoted before, but it probably still does depend on the amount of "circulation" it's seen.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

Thanks for the responses. I will hold on to it as it is only one of 50,000 and who knows what may happen in the future regarding pricing.

Its a shame that whoever spent it at Macca's didnt hand over the cardboard holder as well........

Hey I have got TWO in Indiana thanks to my Aussie friends. Not really sure HOW I got into Aussie Dolars, well, perhaps I am as it had something to do with the Mob of Roos and things took off from there! Still working the PROOF Mob of Roos as they are absolutely stunning and during that search a little trading came about and I now have a pretty darn good start on the modern dollars. I am really amazed at the amount of mintmarks available on Aussie coins and the challenge to get them all, especially when you live in the U.S.!!!

Was it the actual 'tv' mint-mark that you saw for sale, or was it the other mint-marks? Because I haven't seen them in any coin stores for less than $10.00 each for the 'tv' mint-mark.

hey people...

The 'TV' mm is actually retailing at $15 now. And all other mm's have actually increased. Retail price is between $5 and $10 depending on which mark.

Hi Nardia.I have noticed the TV dollar mms C S B M are still available at RAM for issue price of $2.75
Does new McDonalds list them at these prices,if so that may be why some dealers have changed their retail price ?

I can't see price of these increasing much above issue price for quite a few years, the TV mintmark itself probably always will be valued more than the others

Yes that explains it well PNC.The Korean dollars from 03 have only started to move in price recently so it takes a few years apart from a few exceptions
