And typed in how much would it cost in gold.

No one would pay $1 million for $52,000 in gold, and they wouldn't sell it for say $60,000 to be obligated to buy it back for $1 million.

I did a search on Numista to see if there were any Australian coins that were cast instead of milled and this 1 tonne gold coin appeared in the search results.

I played that coin in 20Q a while back.
At current price of gold that would be worth about AUD$165 million now.
