Overton number? No idea. But I'm going to say AU-55 on the grade.

AU-55/58
Very nice looking coin.
The ware pattern is pretty consistent on the obverse.
Hair and stars show similar.
This is the same on the reverse. The tips of the arrows and lettering.
Very nice toning. Also the coin looks untouched surfaces.
An excellent addition to any collection

AU-53

I think it will be difficult to tell the overton number with out coin in hand, but I think it might have a shot at;

O-106 R.2

As promised, here's the result:

1827-Bust-Half

Just like everyone, I also thought that this may have been conservatively graded when I bought it.
Thanks for all the comments.

This could be an O-142, but the diagnostic for the 7 is not there for O-106. There are so many that are close in diagnostics, I'd need to have the coin in-hand to properly attribute this one. Sorry I couldn't help.

On the British grading system, there is too much wear on the high points to make AU.

This coin would make 'nearly EF'; the '45' seems OK to me.
Rest in Peace

Harsh grade by typical modern standards IMO.
