I hope we were not bidding against each other on the same set. I got my UNC set for 127.50 + 2.99 for shipping. I bid within a few dollars of the older grey sheet prices you had posted

Sounds close but not the same one .. I went to $122 ... because it was at a low price right up to the last minute .. but the shipping was $5.99 The one I bid on did end up closing at $127.. that might be the magic number I will bump my max bid on the next one I bid on. I have been buying a lot of Morgan dollars and Barber dimes this week because I am finding them at a good deal .. But I will get back to the Comm dollars ..

I need to get back to working on upgrading my Morgan Date book and slow down some on the commemorative collection. There are so many great coins out there that I want. All though, commemorative coins are ever changing and many moderns seem to go for a fairly reasonable price. It is hard sometimes, for me, to focus on completing one type of coin with so many choices to work on.

Okay this has been a little more difficult process than I had originally anticipated. However, I should have the pictures posted in the next half hour or so. Had to recharge the batteries on the camera. Then was called away to assist my bride with a few task.
Life got in the way of doing the pictures on Sunday and Monday.

Very nice, good images and focus! Your proofs are certainly better quality than mine.

Wow fantastic looking sets! Are those 90% silver or 99.99%?

Thanks all. I really like the POW obverse. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Reverse is nice to me. I was a child during the war and remember nothing of it. However, when I was a young Soldier I served with some very hard core Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, who were nearing retirement from the Army, who had served in the Vietnam War. They always had a certain look to them that I could see in their eyes. Now, after serving 24 years in the Army and 4 different tours of combat, I understand that look.

The proof coins are hard for me to get good pictures of because of the highly reflective fields. I see reflections of my camera lens and other objects on the proof coin pictures. I need to read the section on photography and get the tripod back out for some future pictures.
