I specifically avoid this seller in my Saved Searches for uncirculated wheat cents on ebay. None of his coins look right to me and he floods ebay with them.

I have been collecting since 1963, have seen a million Lincolns at this is a EF cleaned. With the dammage to obverse it may net Fine.

It is amazing that his feedback rating is so high. I feel like I should never trust E-bay feedback.

yea the sad thing is the buyers dont have a clue there paying more than top dollar for junk. But in the same sense knowledge is power and if you dont educate yourself then its your own loss

Bottom line is this:
If you have no clue what you are doing in Lincoln cents, buy the valuable ones in a holder graded by NGC or PCGS. End of story.
The buyer on this auction obviously has no clue, because the coin is very obviously cleaned and is very worthless.

The coin looked a little worn to me to be BU or even AU, just looks funny to me. Did anyone notice the purple spot on the reverse between the N and T in CENT?

I reported the following if anyone else wants to report them. 260833283451, 260832582513, 300586574680, 300586576186, 300586576626, 260832612467, 260832613316, 300586579097, 300586579759, 300586580409, 300586581258, 260832619535, This seller needs to be taken care of. Almost all his coins are cleaned. Heck he has a 55 doubled die with rim damage and says its UNC. In the title

Reporting is futile, technically by ebay rules, he has done nothing wrong. The best thing you can do is buy a piece of crap from him and leave him a fat negative evaluation. He's in the same league as that nancy scammer that sells all recolored coins yet has like 99% positive feedback from the ignorant.
