What a joke. He pulls out because he sells one quarter for less than a dollar under melt? I've gotten Morgans and Peace dollars for several dollars under melt and the seller still sent them... |

Hmh. I get a fair number of silver Washingtons on e-Bay between $6.50 and $7.50, a few just this past weekend, and this seller wimps out? Definitely open a case and get your money back.

This is pathetic. This is like setting a phantom reserve price. I'd be irate if I were you! Well even if he got melt value for it, he'd probably want you to cover the E-Bay fees too.  |

Let me get this clear. He's admitted he isn't going to send the coin, and why he isn't. You've already asked for the refund, and he hasn't replied. Right? If that's the case, open the dispute.

I emailed him and he never responded. So I figured he wasn't sending it because it was under melt.

I really get annoyed by such "amateurish" acts on ebay!..sellers enter with the hope of generating big profits overnight & go on just immitating highly rated sellers with the hope of getting the same response from eBayers, when suddenly they notice that it's not paying off & back off..leaving many unsatisfied customers wondering. |
