Nice pickup! You got the war nickles for under BV. Check the 1943-P for the 43/2.
This reminds me to check out flea markets...you never know.

My second largest and best purchase in coins was at a flea market. A large black 3 ringed binder with 238 Buffalo nickels and a page of Jefferson nickels. All in those 20 pocket plastic pages and almost all in at least EF to MS grades.

You did Great!! Wish I could find deals like that. My local flea markets are filled with things like 1968 mint sets that were purchased at local auctions for $25+ dollars and and are being put up for sale at even higher prices in order to try and turn a profit. I get so tired of seeing $15 common date Buffalo's.

I got a 1967 Canadian mint state set at a flea market last year for $27. The dollar coin alone is worth atleast that, not to mention the silver value.

I just recently went to a few fly markets. I hadn't been to one since I was a kid. Was amazed at how many people had coins for sale. Did pick up a few things. Hope to go to more soon.

I have had some pretty great finds at flea markets too. Remember if you don't see any coins out just ask the sellers, some keep them hidden because they don't want them to get stolen. I have had many people pull out coins or bring them the next time because they thought no one was interested. When they find out I am interested some will even hold all there coins for me to look at first . All you have to do is ask .

Good for you guys! Flea markets in my area have mostly junk, never find any good coins - mostly Avon bottles!

You may find more and more coin dealers at flea markets. Once reason is many are dropping a coin store. At a coin store you have to wait for a possible custome but at a flea market, thousands of potential customers pass you all day.
Other coin store owners have found that for a Sunday at a flea market, they can sell as much as all week at their store.

Coins at flea markets have been hit & miss for me. I've seen most coins a little pricey-er than coin shows. But last year I did stop by a local flea market near my parents house in Georgia and picked up each of the 4 kinds of 2009 Lincoln presidential pennies from a mint roll at 8 cents apiece (that's $.08), P & D mint marks. Several months before I paid 75 cents each at my local coin shop. You never know unless you take a chance and look around.
