nickelsearcher - I would like one of these. I have more than 100 posts, live West of the Mississippi, and I honestly do not have one, but have been looking. PM will be sent after this post.
Thanks!

I'm WAY WAY west of the Missippi and am well over the 100 post requirement...and very unlikely to ever find a WAM...except for when I get to go to the US, my search options are quite limited. Namely: when folks come through here from the US, I find ways to kindly search their pocket change. hehehehehe...that and when I have the odd chance to do a layover at a US airport, I'll hit up the airport stores for a roll of change and then use what's left when I buy something. I absolutely do NOT have a 1998 WAM...and would love one. :) I also agree to post to this thread upon receipt so you know it has been delivered.

Agree that Mexico is West of the Mississippi ... and I intentionally did not exclude our world family from the freebie. harrison2 gets the final 1998 WAM. Send me a PM with mailing details ... David

I am about as far west of the Mississippi as you can get, I live 24,492 miles west of the Mississippi River, or if you go east 410 miles to Michigan =p

I'm probably the closest to not qualifying but I'm exactly 1 mile west of the Mississippi. Thanks for the giveaway nickelsearcher.

Murrelington: I've done over 100 boxes of Lincon cents in the last two years, (as well as about 20,000 more coins that were CWR's)- hopefully turned over EVERY 98,99 & 00 cent and found nary a single WAM... Until I just BOUGHT three boxes of String & Son cents from a forum member in NY - finally found one moderately corroded 98 WAM They are indeed tough to find in these parts! No worries, once I get 250 (posts) I'm going to do the trading thing with East coast members, who are no doubt missing 68 through 74 "S" mints and good examples of 2009D's...

Trading boxes is a good idea. I usually get all 1968-1974 s in one box here, and a few of each 2009 d. and wams seem prevalent in the east. I bought some nickel boxes off of someone from the east.

Got mine today. Thanks nickelsearcher. I've looked at so many of these thinking maybe it was a WAM but now that I have one it is very obvious. I have some 2011d coins I may "pay it forward" with the east coasters when I have time. Hopefully soon.

Great ... thanks for acknowledging receipt folks ...
I have not yet sent harrison2 coin ... he asked for a special favor ... which I will comply with ... but have not searched any cents since then.
All is good ... enjoying supporting fellow collectors.
