Now you guys have got me all confused!!! I don't think ex-fart or former-fart say the same thing as OLD fart!!! Guess the point here is the fact everyone used to be something that they are now not?
As we wander through this life it is very important that we learn from our past and our mistakes and continue to look ahead to new possibilities, accept the changes that may come and make the best out of them. And, in this hobby, never give up the hunt as no one wants to be an Ex-collector, Former-collector or Old collector! We are all just collectors!!!

All I have to say is that you are sure using the term 'OLD' is a very loose way!

It goes without saying that you will know when the title applies..and you don't need anyone to tell you when it fits.

Marine, army, old, ex, whatever. All I know is that they all had to LOOK UP to the Air Force!!!

There's no point in getting that far off of the original topic. I will interject however, that the Department of the Navy, which includes the USN and the USMC, is by far the best "branch" of service. Besides, from where I was making patrols, looking up all I saw was 400 ft of the Atlantic Ocean. lolololol
