That roll on ebay is pretty cool, made two offers but both were automatically declined.

what did you offer jokingjoker? That price averages out to $50 a coin, which isn't too horrible, but it leaves no room for profit if you want to resell. that is an awesome roll though.

That roll on E bay does look pretty cool .. the coins look better grade than the ones I am looking at.
Doing searches on E bay, I don't see many that with bids. This roll could be a big gamble for who ever buys it. I am thinking the better condition coins might sell well, but the ones with spot(s) or finger prints someone could have them for years.

Quote: $1700 for the 1970 S roll and $190 for the 1960 roll This sounds correct to me based on the description of quality

Quote: I looked through about half the roll and they look like they are small date coins. You should be absolutely certain they are all small dates if you are considering a buy. If you were to purchase the roll, I bet you could liquidate a significant portion of them right here on the forum.

x3! If I were looking to make a profit and if the majority of the coins had spotting, I wouldn't go much higher than about $1000. This is based on a conservative average sale price of $25 each which leaves $5 profit per coin.

After verifying each coin is a small date, I'd offer $1000 for the roll.

Look at every single coin and assess value from there.

I agree, that I will have to verify each coin. And hope I am right

Hopefully this will mean that a lot of people would finally have one in hand. I am a firm believer that once you see one in hand, you will know the difference between the large and small date 1970-S cents.

The small dates were the hardest thing for me to tell the difference between. once I bought my small date I can tell the difference without even looking at a reference coin anymore.
